My sister is a huge fan of Willie Nelson. I know that he is still on tour – and the man is at least 70 years old. This year he is doing Farm Aid again, in St. Louis. And then he will be in my sister’s home town in October for the dedication of the Patsy Cline Theater, in Winchester. If I come into a little extra money, I just might spring for a couple of tickets and take my sister to hear him sing.

There are a few websites that I keep going back to time after time. One of these sites is Craig’s list. It is one of the best and easiest sites to use. The best part is that there are so many things to look at. I like to browse through the for sale section and see what kind of values I can find. I also like the discussion forums (If the idiots would stay off it).

It’s also cool to look through the things that people are giving away for free. I have gotten a lot of firewood from this site. Just bring a truck and come get it! From time to time I have made a post or two and have gotten responses. It’s easy to clean out your garage and not have to worry about going to the dump. Just put it on Craig’s list!

Technorati

This is a pretty funny story that reminded me of the famous Hatfield and McCoy feud. It seems that a Pennsylvania man named William Maser likes to work on old firearms. The history buff shoots old cannons on his property for fun. The problem is that when he fired a recently recovered cannon, the two pound ball went through his neighbors window before landing in the closet.

Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident and everything is forgiven. That is of course except for the police who have filed charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and reckless endangerment.

Raspberry sherbet

Since the weather has been so hot lately, it’s nice to have a cool treat. Each night, I like to have a little ice cream at night awhile after dinner. Lately, I have had a craving for raspberry sherbet. I know it’s not everybody’s favorite flavor, but it’s working well for me. I had been eating chocolate for a long time, but I was getting tired of it. It’s been a nice switch!
